Nicki Lee Sweeney, age 30, died unexpectedly on Sunday August 30, 2015. Born on June 28, 1985 in Dorchester, she was the daughter of Robyn (Snow) Sweeney of Salem. Nicki attended North Shore Christian School and was a graduate of Essex Agricultural Technical Institute.
She was employed for several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant. Nicki loved working with children, animals and the elderly. She had a generous heart for helping others.
Surviving her in addition to her loving mother is her beloved son, Jordan of Salem, her grandfather Herbert A. Snow of Seabrook, NH, many special aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. She was also the granddaughter of the late Joan L. Snow and cousin of the late Ryan A. Brennan.
Her Funeral Service will be held at the West Congregational Church, 27 Johnson St., West Peabody on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Her visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem on Monday September 14, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Herren Project, Box 131, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
