Nguong Phat Truong, age84, husband of the late Muoi Ngu (Huyhn) Truong died Friday May 8, 2009.
Born and raised in China the son of the late Winh A. and Kim A (Tohen) Truong, he moved to Viet Nam married his late wife and began a family. An extremely hard working man, Mr. Truong was a commercial fisherman for many years along the Viet Nam coast. In 1980 he moved to the United States, settling on the North Shore and had been employed by the Landmark School, Beverly as a custodian until his retirement.
Mr. Truong is survived by four children Tu Truong of Methuen, Van Truong of Salem, Binh Truong of Salem and Dat Truong of Methun and six grandchildren.
His funeral services will be held on Satruday at 9:30 A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of Rte 114, exit 25 A from rte 128) Salem to be follwed by cremation ceremonies at Harmony Grove Crematory. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
