Nancy G. Williston, age 63, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Boston to the parents of Robert L. and Marion (Jones) Williston. She was raised in Milford and Amherst, NH. Graduating from Milford High School, she continued her education at Simons Rock in Great Barrington, MA and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her degree in English. She had studied abroad for one year studying Art History.
Her career was in the secretarial field, having worked for the well know poet Seamus Heney at Harvard University and the Genealogy Society of Boston. She had also worked in retail sales with Laura Ashley. She was an avid reader and she also enjoyed writing poetry.
Surviving her are her sister Linda S. Clark of Salem, one aunt and several cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall St., 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005, ATTN: Boston Overnight.
