Muriel Ann (Coffill) Riley, age 75, wife of the late Richard Riley, died Friday morning December 1, 2017.  Born in Salem, Muriel was the daughter of the late Alton and Alice (Monaghan) Coffill.  She had been a resident of Peabody for many years.

Mrs. Riley was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rainbow Nursing Home.  She was very dedicated to her patients and loved her work.  She was employed there for over 35 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Riley's family was the most important part of her life.  Her, and her sister Eleanor,  were very close and have many great memories together.

Surviving her are her daughter, Pamella Coffill of Salem, her grandson Nicholas Power of Salem, her sister Eleanor O'Brien of Lynn, her niece Kelly Fritz and her husband Jack and their children J.T. and Kolleen Fritz all of Everett and her step daughter Diane Palocci of Beverly.

Mrs. Riley's Funeral Service will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, corner of North Street, Salem on Thursday at 11:00 A.M.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,  262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.  For addisional information or online guest book please call 978-744-0497 or visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com .
