Morgan B. Jones, age 22, of Salem died unexpectedly, Wednesday evening, January 21, 2010 in North Shore Medical Center, Salem.
He was born in Burlington, VT and attended Salem schools graduating from Salem High School in the Class of 2006. Morgan enjoyed modeling, acting and singing and was a graduate of the Babizon School of Modeling. Most recently he has been employed in retail fashion at the North Shore Mall, previously at Abercrombie and Fitch and currently by Forever XXI.
Morgan is survived by his mother, Anne (Rothwell) Counihan and her husband William J. Counihan III of Salem, with whom he resided; his father Stephen Jones of Hardwick, VT; a sister Samantha Jones of Salem; his paternal grandmother Ruth Jones of Hardwick, VT; two aunts Mary McCuish and her husband Ken of Billerica and Enid Rothwell of Marlboro; two uncles Richard Rothwell and his wife Michelle of Methuen and Paul Rothwell of Salem; five cousins, Monica. Jessica, Richard, William and Edward.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem, during which a funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be private. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Salem Boys and Girls Club,13 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem, MA 01970.
