Miriam Berodi-Oberlander, 78, of Beverly, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 26, 2024, after a brief illness.

Miriam was born in Winthrop, daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (Prager) Berodi. She was raised in Revere where she graduated high school and went on to work as a secretary in office supply. She married her husband William Oberlander and have resided in Beverly for 40 years and have both engaged in traveling all over the United States and Europe.

In addition to her husband, Miriam is survived by her sister Rita Nigro and her husband Frank Nigro; her sisters in law Elaine Jagello and Paula Oberlander of Everett; nieces Michelle Reardon, Kayla Wright, and Hannah Bashner, all of North Andover and Kelly Jagello of Florida; her nephew Joseph Nigro and his daughters Milana Nigro and Giana Nigro of Utah, also, dear friends Dewitt Mercer Manchester, NH, Ronald Jagiello of Florida, and Larry Eggleston of Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her sister Florence Berodi.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA.
