Georgetown……

Michael Timothy Keegan Jr., age 31, fiancee of Jennifer Bridges and father of Kaylee Amie Keegan of Georgetown, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 4, 2010.


Born in Bridgeport, Ct. the son of Albertina Balcastro, of Connecticut and Michael T. Keegan, Sr. of Connecticut. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Amie Speliotis. He graduated from Amesbury High School, class of 1997. Michael loved his family. Nothing brought him more joy and happiness than being a father to his daughter Kaylee. He enjoyed playing basketball and was looking forward to teaching his daughter the game. Michael was also an avid Boston sports fan and loved music.


Known mostly as "Keegan" to his friends, he was a loyal and devoted friend. Michael worked in the construction industry.


Michael is also survived by his grandmother ( Ganny) Madelaine Balcastro of Naugatuck, Ct; two uncles Phillip Balcastro and Charlie Schwarz of Ct; an aunt Robbin Carroll of Ct; 8 cousins, a favorite and only nephew Antonio R.


Michael's funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (corner of North St.) Salem, Ma. Visitation will be before the service from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Interment will be private.
