Maureen E. (McGovern) Pariseau, age 81, wife of the late Robert A. Pariseau of Salem died at home Sunday morning, March 11, 2012.

Born in Beverly, the daughter of the late Edward P. and Helen (Nolan) McGovern, she was employed at General Electric until marrying her late husband and raising their family. Dedicated to her family, Mrs. Pariseau enjoyed quilting, music, travel and ceramics.

She is survived by three children, Stephen and his wife Cynthia Pariseau of Beverly, Nancy and her husband Vincent Izzi of Danvers and Cynthia and her husband James Seybold of Salem; 2 brothers Paul McGovern of Topsfield, and Edward McGovern of Brockton; a sister Helen Meaney of Beverly; 10 grandchildren Heather, Joshua, Hannah, Michael, Justin, Kayla, Nolan, Andrew, Abigail, and Ethan.

She was predeceased by a brother Thomas McGovern and two sisters, Kathleen Rooney and Edwina McGovern.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 10:00 AM from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be prior to the funeral on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
