Maryann Turcotte (Mimi) a lifelong resident of Salem passed away on July 14. Maryann was the wife of the late Ronald Turcotte Sr. also a lifelong resident. Meeting in high school they were married for 48 years until Ronald's passing in 2011. Growing up in the Castle Hill neighborhood of Salem, Maryann was the daughter  of Lionel and Alice Roulier, she graduated from St. Chretienne Academy High School class of 1962. Maryann is survived by her two sons Ronald Turcotte Jr, Mark Turcotte, her daughter in law Theresa Turcotte, three grandchildren Alex, Zach, and Emma Turcotte, as well as her great granddaughter Elexia Turcotte. Maryann was an avid dog lover always finding a way to keep a dog in the house even when her husband Ron wasn't totally on board. Her and Ron in the 1980's owned and operated Ron's Takeout in Lynn. After selling the business Maryann worked for Kennedy's food service as a manager/ cook some of the locations being Phillips lighting in Lynn, EGG in Salem, and St.Johns prep school in Danvers. After retiring Maryann continued to work part time in the Salem school system food service helping serve her favorite students of New Liberty Innovation School. She will be dearly missed and will always be loved by many.
