Mary M. "Marge" Simbliaris, age 84 wife of the late Aristotle "Harry" Simbliaris, a longtime resident of Lynn and Saugus, more recently of Marblehead, died at home Friday morning, September 2, 2011.

Born in Lynn the daughter of the late Wallace and Nettie (Amiro) Hubbard, she was raised and educated in Lynn at St. Mary's High School. Mrs. Simbliaris then was employed in Lynn's local shoe factories until becoming a waitress. Her warm personality and commitment to service earned her longtime positions as a waitress at the Harvard Club as well as the reknown "Top Of the Hub" restaurant in Boston.

Mrs. Simbliaris loved her family and took great pleasure in entertaining and never missed an opportunity to go ballroom dancing.

She is survived by two children, George and his wife Ruth Simbliaris of Lynn and Paul and his wife Lori Simbliaris of Marblehead; four sisters, Sr. Anne Marie Hubbard, Medical Missionaries of Mary, of Somerville, Genevieve Gagnon of Lynn, Dorothy Weeks and her husband Leo Weeks, and Gladys Kuklinski both of Peabody; four grandchildren Christopher and his wife Melissa Simbliaris, Michelle, Danielle and Harrison Simbliaris; one great grandchild Calvin Reynolds and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters Pearl Barra and Hazel White; a brother Wallace "Wally" Hubbard; three brothers in law Robert Gagnon, Stanley Kuklinski and Ralph Barra.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 8:15 AM from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor or North St, Rte 114) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 8 South Common St., Lynn, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Funeral Home, Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
