MARY M. GALLANT
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Mary M. Gallant, 87, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Vermont, on Saturday, June 16, 2007.
She is the daughter of Eugene and Nora Ahern of Salem, Massachusetts and Counties Cork and Waterford Ireland. She was predeceased by her husband, Isidore Laurent Gallant, two brothers, John and William Ahern, and one sister, Esther Ahern.
She leaves four children, Lawrence W. Gallant of Beverly, Massachusetts, Ronald J. Gallant of Chesterville, Maine, Jean E. Ramsey, MD of Hamilton, Massachusetts, and Janice M. Gallant, MD of South Burlington, Vermont; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 12:00pm in St. John Vianney Church, So. Burlington, VT. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6 to 8pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington, VT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to St. John Vianney Church, 160 Hinesburg Rd., South Burlington, VT 05403.
