Mary L Gallant, age 98, of Middletown Rhode Island and Salem Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 at the John Clarke Nursing Center in Middletown, RI.  Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late James and Bertha (Collins) Gallant.

Mary is survived by her sister Sheila Sirois, her beloved niece Theresa Sirois both of Middletown, RI her beloved nephew Jason Modugno of Beverly and her grand, great grand and great great grand nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Leo, Raymond, Terrence and James "Arthur" Gallant and her sisters Irene Dacey, Ruth Morton, Frances Maraziti and Ann Modugno.

A visitation for Mary will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem on Friday February 18, 2022 from 11a.m. to 12 p.m. with her Funeral Service at 12p.m.  at the Funeral Home.  Masks are required inside of the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  For additional information or online guest book please call 978-744-0497 or visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com.
