Mary E. MacKay of 11 Charles Street Peabody Massachusetts, 86, died on May 18, 20104 from complications resulting from Multiple Myeloma.
Born in Salem, Mary grew up in Boston and attended South Boston High School. She worked at Sylvania, Norelco and Jordan Marsh.
Mary was married to Albert Makar, George MacKay and was long-time companion to Anthony Kororas, all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Arthur Makar, and his partner, Jon Pinkos, of New York City, her friend and caregiver, Eva Quinlan of Peabody and several nieces and nephews.
At Mary's request there will be no viewing and services/burial will be private.
