Mark Andrew Garabedian, age 55, of Rochester,NH, formerly of Lynn, MA died at home on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Diane (Vinson) Garabedian.

Mark was born in Lynn the son of the late Samuel Garabedian and mom Elizabeth (Davenport) Garabedian.

He was educated in Lynn schools graduating from Lynn Technical High School, where he studied culinary arts. He worked for many years as an executive chef, before getting into the metal scrap business.

Mark loved all Boston sports teams and was a big music fan. When his children were younger he enjoyed taking them camping and fishing.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his four sons Mark Garabedian, Matthew Garabedian and his wife Britney, Mason Garabedian and Maxwell Garabedian; a granddaughter Arianna Marie; a sister Denise Garabedian of Peabody, MA and her children Joseph, Corinne and Anthony Landry, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Garabedian's funeral will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home 85 Federal St. (Corner of North St.), Salem, MA 01970. Visiting hours are from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
