Mark Steven Evans, age 30, son of Steven J. and Luzia M. (Gruber) Evans, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 20, 2013. Mark was born in Danvers and raised and educated in Salem. He was a graduate of Salem High School in the class of 2000.
Mark was employed as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying all aspects of nature. He was a skier and enjoyed hiking and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, music and traveling. Mark was a loving and caring person and most especially enjoyed being with his family.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his sister, Janine Liberty and her husband Sam of Salem; his grandparents John and Judith Evans of Beverly; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held for Mark at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St), Salem on Friday at 6:00 P.M. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
