Marion E. Kimball peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at CareOne of Peabody, surrounded by her loving family.

Marion was born on October 4th, 1926 in Andover, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the eldest born to Earle and Edna (Smith) Barker.  She married Frank (Bucky) Kimball on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 1948, the love of her life. They were happily married for 51 years.  She worked in retail for most of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and knitting. But most of all, loved cooking for her family and friends. She was known as "one of the best" by so many.

Marion is preceded by her loving husband Frank (Bucky) Kimball, her brothers Carl, Elmer and Kenneth and her daughter Gayle and son Darcy.

Marion is survived by her sisters, Peggy Scott of Beverly, MA, Shirley Cleghorn of St. Stephens, N.B., Canada, her brother Earle Lee Barker of St. Stephens, N.B., Canada, her daughters and son-in-laws Charlene & Donald Swenson of Hampton, NH, Lynn & Joe Silva of Salem, MA and her grandson and his wife, Matthew & Jodi (Brunet) Swenson of Seabrook, NH, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Her family and friends will forever remember her as the "sweet and gentle" lady.

A private service will be held for Marion by her family at Murphy Funeral Home of Salem, MA.
