Marie C. Moran, 90, passed away on Dec 19th after a short illness. Marie was the daughter of Martin E. Carr and Catherine E. Hurley. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Moran.
Marie is survived by her sister Eleanor Carr of Beverly and Eleanor's son Andrew Landers of Byfield. She is also survived by her niece, Patricia Erickson of San Francisco, CA.
Marie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, she was almost always the life of the party. She loved living for the last 8 months at Landmark at Oceanview Assisted Living. Sharing meals, movies and other activities with the other residents really made her time there memorable. Her most cherished memories were the time she spent with her club girls. Barbara Burns and Charlotte Gallo were her best friends and meant so much to her. Marie was a good wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed.

Visiting hours are Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9 to 11 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (corner of North St.), Salem, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Central Cemetery, Butman Street entrance, Beverly, MA.
