Marian E. Moriarty – 93
Passed away peacefully, June 13 at Ledgewood Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.
Marian was born in Flushing, NY on May 6, 1918, daughter of James and Helen Moriarty and sister of Helen (Moriarty) Murphy. She was married to Arthur Dooley of New York. She was a parishioner at St. Andrew Avellino RC Church in Flushing.

In her youth, Marian was a competitive swimmer, performed with a tap dance group, and enjoyed horseback riding, tennis and other sports. Marian worked as a telephone operator, typist and stenographer and school bus driver in Manhattan. Marian was especially fond of summers at Rockaway Beach and Broadway musicals. She was gregarious and outgoing and enjoyed the company of her family and many life-long friends.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Ingalls of Beverly; daughter and son-in-law, Anne Marie and David DelCampo of Nyack, NY; her grandchildren, Johanna Ingalls and her husband Reuben Maher of Co. Cork, Ireland; Nora Ingalls of New York, NY; Julian DelCampo of Rockville, MD and Olivia DelCampo of Los Angeles, CA. She will also be missed by her niece and nephew, Bernadette and Robert Landry of Andover, MA and her grand-nephew Matthew Landry and his wife Lee Fuoco and grand-nieces Maura and Siobhan Landry.
