Maria Alcina Lima, age 86 of Peabody, wife of the late Antonio Lima died Tuesday April 27, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House Danvers.
She Born in Graciosa, Azores, Portugal, where she completed her education. A dedicated loving wife, Mrs. Lima married her late husband at the age of 21. Her family was the center of her life and when her daughter and late son in law moved to Peabody, she followed them here. Mrs. Lima remained active with her grandchildren, Tony and his wife Jill Silva of Reading, MA and Cindy Silva of Peabody as well as her great grandchildren Derek and Danielle Silva who she enjoyed babysitting, cooking and crocheting for.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem from 6:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services and burial will be in Graciosa, Azores, Portugal Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 75 Sylvan St., Suite, B 102 Danvers, MA 01923.
