Mrs. Marguerite June (Brennan) Mahoney 91, wife of the late Atty. William L. Mahoney Jr. passed away peacefully at her daughters home on Wednesday, July 28 ^th .

Born in Peabody, MA, she was the daughter of James J. and Dorothy (Noone) Brennan. She was a graduate of St. Johns High School in Peabody and was employed with The New England Telephone Company for many years as a Manager in both their Salem and Hyannis, MA offices.

She was a member of St. James Church and the St James Women's Guild. She was also a long-time Executive Board Member and President of the Guild of the Infant Savior. She was committed to her faith right up until the end of her life. She will be remembered for her smile, sweet disposition, and her love of family.

She is survived by her 6 children, William L. Mahoney III and his wife Lori of Gilmanton, NH, James J. Mahoney and his wife Maylid of Weston, FL, and Escazu, Costa Rica,  Mark E. Mahoney and his wife Stephanie of Marblehead, MA, Andrew Mahoney and his wife Heather of Delray, FL, Lyn-Ann (Mahoney) King of Worcester, MA and John Mahoney and his wife Melissa of Marblehead, MA. She also leaves her 10 beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, William IV, Spencer, Logan, Taylor, Bailey, Griffin, John, Ava, and Maya, and her great-grandchild Camden.

She was predeceased by her 4 siblings, Mrs. James (Ann) Cotter of Medfield,  John J. and Pauline Brennan of Peabody, Mary B. (Chisholm) Hanson of Peabody, William Brennan of Jensen Beach, Fl and several nieces, nephews, and friends whom she adored.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, August 2 ^nd at Murphy's Funeral Home 85 Federal St. Salem, MA with visiting hours from 4-8 pm.  Her funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 3 ^rd at 11 am at Immaculate Conception Church 15 Hawthorne Blvd. Salem, MA followed by her burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
