Lucille "Lucy" P. Corcoran, aged 85, passed away at Anna Jacques hospital on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 after a bout of Pneumonia. Born in Salem, MA on November 5, 1936 to Rosario and Philomena (Parto) Puleo. She lived in Salem most of her life and later moved to Salisbury MA to be closer to her family. Lucy graduated in 1955 from Salem High School and went on to be employed for over 35 years with GTE Employees Federal Credit Union, which later became Unified Federal Credit Union.
When not working, or taking care of her family, Lucy was an avid quilter, and belonged to many quilting groups where she established lifelong friendships. She enjoyed knitting and generously donated her works of art to those in need. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spoiling them and celebrating their accomplishments as they grew into adults. They loved her beyond words and she will be truly missed by all of them.
Lucy is survived by her son, Alfred Lech Jr. (Gerlyn) of South Carolina, and her daughter-in-law Susan Lech of Newbury MA.; her grandchildren Melissa Lech (Indiana), Amanda Fields (South Carolina), Matthew and Jonathan Lech of Newbury MA, and Katie Corcoran (Tennessee); her brother Frank Puleo of Wilmington; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by both of her husbands, Bernard William "Bernie" Corcoran, and Alfred Lech Sr.; her son Ronald Lech; and her siblings Joseph Quartarone, Angelina M Kaminski, Margaret Turcotte, Jennie Marmen, Lawrence S Puleo, Rosario Puleo Jr, Grace M Puleo and John Quartarone.
