IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louis N
Mangifesti
May 17, 1936 – June 7, 2018
Louis (Louie) N. Mangifesti, 82, of Bradenton, FL passed away on June 7, 2018. Louie was born and raised in Lynn, MA by his parents Nicholas and Natala (Amanti) Mangifesti, both deceased. Growing up, Louie attended local schools eventually getting his undergrad degree from Mass College of Art and his Master of Art from Assumption College.
After graduation, Louie worked as an art teacher for the Danvers school system until eventually becoming the Coordinator of Arts for the town of Danvers until he retired from the school system. Louie was fortunate in pursuing another passion after retirement when he bought and ran Blair House Antiques in Beverly for 25 years, which happened to be the oldest commercial building in the country.
Aside from teaching, the arts, and running a store for fine antiques, Louie loved to cook in his spare time, especially with experimenting with new recipes. He loved to say, " I just created a miracle!"
Louie is survived by Brother in- Paul Pedi, Sister in-law Teresa Mangifesti, nieces Teresa Keenan, Donna McCarriston, Catherine McDonnell, Gina Fillio and Paula Ranieri and nephew Joseph Pedi. He is predeceased by his sister Pauline Pedi and twin brother Anthony Mangifesti as well as his beloved dog Rocky.
