Lois Jane Teeling, age 70, daughter of the late John A. and Ines M. (Woodbury) Teeling, died Tuesday afternoon, July 2, 2013 at the Lifecare Center of the North Shore in Lynn. Miss Teeling was born in Malden and raised in Saugus and graduated from Georgetown High School. Following High School, Miss Teeling entered the United States Air Force and served her Country in the early 1960's.
Miss Teeling was employed with Woolworth's in Haverhill and Building 19 in Lynn. She was an avid bowler, loved to play scrabble and had belonged to a Scrabble Club.
Surviving her are two brothers, John A. Teeling of Winchendon, Robert L. Teeling of Manchester, NH and a sister Joy Saggese of Edgewater, FL. She is also survived by her special friend, Bob Kasian and her childhood friend, Yvonne Naselroad with whom she has been friends with since she was 4 years old. She was also the former wife of William "Bill" Furey.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributios may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
