Linda J. (Johnson) Foss, age 76 wife of the late Howard W. Foss passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born in Stoneham, the daughter of the late Rena and Floyd Johnson of Peabody.  She attended Peabody High School.

For almost 50 years she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Brentwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center (Liberty Pavilion Nursing Home) in Danvers.

Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking and fishing trips ranging from deep sea trips to just fishing from the pier.  She always enjoyed watching a good lightning storm and going to the ocean to watch a storm. Her favorite place spending time was at their camp in Maine. Either spending time with the family or just relaxing by herself, it was her favorite place to be.

She was the beloved mother of six children, the late Howard Foss, Bernadette Feinberg and her husband Jay, Matthew Foss and his wife Lynette, Melinda Reunanen and her husband Jari, Christopher Foss and his wife Jennifer and Jason Foss and his wife Jennifer.  She was also the grandmother of 15 and the great-grandmother of 6.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects to the family and celebrate Linda are invited to attend services at Murphy's Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, on Friday, May 5th at 9:00 - 11:00 for viewing with services immediately following at 11:00. Burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
