Salem - Mr. Levon T. Kacherian, 78, of Salem, beloved husband of Beth Kacherian, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bennington, Vermont, the son of the late Leo and Clara Kacherian was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1959. A Marine Vietnam Veteran,  past member of the Salem Moose, and played for many years on the Sport's Haven Golf League.

A loving husband, Father and grandfather, Levi is survived by his wife Beth Kacherian, Daughter Amy Nightingale, Grandchildren Taylor, Kaidan and Dylan "Charile" Nightingale of Caribou, Me. and a son Jerry Kacherian and fiancé Ashley Kelleher of Peabody.

A Brother to Ronald and his wife Florence Kacherian, their children, grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cousin to Authur and Richard Godjikian and their families of Salem and Woburn, Ma. Nick and Nancy Kokoras and family of Bennington Vt. and very close friends Bill and Jane Clancy and Frank Bertini and his entire family.

Levi was self-employed for many years and enjoyed his work painting and wallpapering, He was also known for his time spent working at Keefe's Bertini's restaurant and The Sports Haven.

Levi enjoyed painting, drawing and designing custom birdhouses in his garage, truly a man of many talents. He had too many friends to mention who love and appreciated him and his incredible sense of humor.

Above all, he was always willing to help a friend or family member in need. Levi, will forever be embedded in our hearts.
