Lester Nishi, age 60, died in New York on Tuesday September 24, 2013. Born in Los Angeles, California he is the son of Nobel Nishi & Mataye Jane Nishi. For the last 35 years Mr. Nishi has resided in Massachusetts.
In addition to his mother Mataye Jane, Mr. Nishi is survived by his daughter Morgan Nishi, a current resident of Swampscott, MA, as well as his two brothers, Don Saisho & Sam Nishi both California residents.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St.) Salem MA, on Saturday October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Boston Firefighter's Burn Foundation, 55 Hallet St., Dorchester, MA 02124.
