Obituary

Amesbury — Leonard A. Clark, 64, of Waltham, died Monday June 10, following an extended illness.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Raymond and Eleanor (Eaton) Clark. He was raised and educated in Salem.

Upon the completion of his education, Mr. Clark became a chef and cooked in several Boston area restaurants.

Leonard was a free spirit, who enjoyed spending his time outdoors. Time had no meaning, as he lived in the moment, taking in all it had to offer.

He is survived by a sister Juanita and her late husband, Leonard Lajoie, of Rochester N.H.; three brothers, Raymond and his late wife, Ann, Clark of Bridgeville, Del., Jeffrey and his wife, Diane, Clark of Salem, and Steven and his wife, Shirley, Clark of Harrison, Maine; sister-in-law Merle Clark of Mount Vernon, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Wayne Clark.

ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., in the Greenlawn Cemetery, 57 Orne St, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
