Obituary

Leo Kennedy (70) passed away suddenly with his loving family by his side on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Salem Hospital.

Born in Savin Hill Dorchester, MA in 1947, Leo was raised by his parents William and Dorothy Kennedy in the greater Boston area attending the schools locally.

After graduation, Leo went onto work for Verizon as a lineman for nearly 41 years ensuring that the people in his community were able to connect from distances apart. His desire to keep people connected professionally stemmed from his relationship with his daughter Sara Wallace as she was the light of his day.

Leo will be remembered for his appreciation of a good cup of coffee as well as going to museums around the state as he carried an appreciation of history and knowledge. Leo was known for his ability to teach people about the information he knew from attending museums as well as reading.
