PEABODY — Laureen Marie (Wiswall) Sweeney passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at Lahey in Burlington, following a brief illness.
Born in Lynn, June 28, 1956, raised in Peabody before moving to Salem where she lived with her three children. Laureen loved being with her family and was a devoted mother.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick and Mathew Sweeny, and a daughter, Kelly Sweeny of Salem; her mother, Rosalie Wiswall, and the late Laurence Wiswall of Peabody; two sisters, Kathleen Shea and her husband Brian, Diane Salvato and her husband Jim; a close cousin and friend, Sheila Donovan, several nephews, a niece and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be private and held at a later date.
