Laura M. (Hart) Gentleman, age 43, wife of the late Timothy Gentleman, Sr., passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, May 13, 2024. Born and raised in Salem, Laura was the beloved daughter of Deborah "Debbie" (Foley) Hart and the late David A. Hart, Sr. She leaves behind her sister, Michelle Hart, and brother, David Hart. Laura, a graduate of Salem High School, remained a dedicated resident of her hometown throughout her life.

In addition to her mother and siblings, Laura is survived by her six children: Cameron, Kayla, Timothy Jr., Joshua, Bailey, and Lilly, who were the joy of her life. Alongside them, she leaves behind her nephew, Desmond Hart, and niece, Arya Hart. She is also remembered by her in-laws, Joseph Gentleman and his wife, Jeannine Gentleman, as well as Kimberly Surette and her husband, Peter Surette.

Laura had a passion for dance and spent half of her life as a dancer. She had a love for the outdoors and camping. She also enjoyed taking vacations with her family.

Laura was employed with NSMC – Salem Hospital working as an operating room technician. Laura was a generous person and if anyone ever needed anything she was always the first to offer help. Laura had a huge heart and loved being surrounded by friends and family.

Laura's family will welcome visitors at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem, on Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend. Burial arrangements will be held privately.
