Kenneth P. Richardson, age 58, passed away Sunday August 20, 2017 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.  Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Almon P. and Martha (Williams) Richardson.

Kenneth lived in Salem all of his life as he was a graduate of Salem High School in 1976. After graduation, he went onto work for the U.S. Postal Service in Marblehead as a supervisor for over 20 years.

Outside of his work, Kenneth was an avid traveler.  He traveled across the country from New York to California to attend the Tony Awards and Emmy Awards as he was passionate about the entertainment industry.

Kenneth is survived by: his sister Ellen Richardson and partner Joanne Pardue of Auburn, ME, his sister Mary Provost and her husband Timothy of Merrimac, MA, his nephew Richard Richardson of Auburn, ME, his nieces who were his world, Meghan Mancuso and husband Christopher and Melissa Provost, his partner Aaron Diener, and several cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St Salem (corner of  North and Federal St), from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday August 24, 2017.
