South Berwick, ME – Kathleen E. Sweet, age 64, passed away on May 27, 2019 at her home.  Daughter of the late George and Helen (Nickerson) Sweet, Kathleen was born and raised in Marblehead, MA, and a graduate of Marblehead High School class of 1973.  Upon returning to Marblehead, she worked as a bookkeeper.  She then moved to South Berwick, ME in the early 1990's and eventually started K.S. Bookkeeping Service in 1995.

Kathleen was a very loving and caring person who was always there to help.  She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and to lend helpful advice to those that needed to hear it.  She loved horses, and spending summers at Milton Three Ponds in Milton, NH.

Kathleen is survived by her brother Ken Sweet and his wife Tina of Madison, NH; her sister Diane and her husband Gary Palmer of S. Berwick, ME; her niece Sherri Sweet of S. Berwick, ME; her niece Mirinda Sweet and her husband Michael Dreesen of Beverly; her niece Charlene McCracken and her husband Eamon of Tampa, Florida, as well as many cousins.

A graveside service will be held for Kathleen on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 11AM at Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Dr., Marblehead, MA 01945. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Cornerstone VNA, 178 Farmington Rd.
