Josephine Eleanor Bisazza (Melito) 101, of Danvers formerly of Peabody, passed away on Saturday November 14th at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph John Bisazza.
She was born September 27, 1914 in Boston, educated in East Boston, and later employed by General Electric Lampworks in East Boston for many years. She later worked for McDonalds in Beverly, and Tewksbury for over 25 years. Josephine got great pleasure from cooking and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her sons Joseph Germano and his wife Carolyn, Domenic Germano and his wife Frances, and Cosmo Bisazza and his wife Jane, and her daughter Maria and her husband Alfonso Totilo. She was predeceased by her eight brothers and sisters, and two grandsons; Joseph and Carmelo Germano.
Her wake will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, (corner of North St), Salem, Mass on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 4 to 8pm. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 19th from Murphy Funeral Home at 10:30 AM to be followed by funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 290 North St. Salem, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
