Joseph A. "Joe" Bachorowski, Esquire, age 74, husband of the late Mary (Szpakowski) Bachorowski, of Holderness, NH, formerly of Salem and Marblehead died in Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth, New Hampshire, after a brief illness, early Monday afternoon.

Born and raised in Salem the son of the late Alphonse S. and Alice (Kowalski) Bachorowski. He graduated from St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers. Attorney Bachorowski received his Bachelors Degree from Merrimack College and his Juris Doctorate Degree from Boston University Law School.

For many years he maintained a private law practice, advocating for the rights of disabled workers, with his loving wife as his office manager, until his retirement.
An avid skier he shared his passion with his wife and children at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.

He was also an avid fly fisherman, an accomplished photographer, showing in Kennebunk, Maine, and more recently become involved in community theater as a photographer.

Mr. Bachorowski enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by four children Dr. Jo-Anne Bachorowski of Nashville, TN. Lisa Ann and her husband Guy Ford with whom he resided, Joseph A. Jr. and his wife Debra Bachorowski of Burlington, NC, and Christopher Bachorowski of Salt Lake City, Utah; two granddaughters Ella and Megan Bachorowski of Salt Lake City, Utah; a grandson Steven Eaton and one great grandson August Eaton; a brother of Albert L Bachorowski of Danvers.

He was predeceased by a son John A. Bachorowski.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thurs from 4-8. Interment will be in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.
