Joseph (Joe) Angelo Fratoni, 76, of Rockport, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan House in Danvers after a short battle with cancer.

He was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1964. He worked at and retired from Devcon in Danvers after 32 years as a machinist. Joe loved visiting the Salem Willows, the Cape Ann Sportsman Club, playing the clarinet and driving his Corvette.  He was a friend of Bill W. for 47 years. Joe was the son of Joseph and Angela Fratoni, from Salem, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Joseph J. Fratoni

He is survived by his long-time companion, Debra Sweeney from Peabody, a sister, Linda Fratoni Gill in Delray Beach, FL, his daughter Gayle A. Fratoni of Ossipee, NH, stepdaughter Kelly Kilduff of Salem, grandchildren Jessica Fratoni of Gloucester, MA, William Fratoni of Peabody, MA, Casey and Eric Hudson of Conway, NH, great grandson Gage-Michael J. Desmond of Gloucester, MA, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. Salem from 4-8pm on Friday, April 7th for anyone wishing to pay their respects.
