Josefina (Rivera) DePena age 78 of Salem died Monday December 6, 2010 in the Lahey Clinic Burlington following a brief illness. She and her husband Jose Alberto Pena would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in January.
Born in the Dominican Republic, the daughter of the late Alfonso and Francia Rivera, she is survived by four children, Gaston, Jose, Aracelis and Rosanna Pena; two brothers Juan and Pedro and 14 grandchildren Gaston Pena, Jr., Janet Ortiz, Jose Alberto IV, Laura Pena, Fernando, Pena, Jennifer Pena, Sonia Noemi Pena, Marina Jimenez, Sasha Pena, Luis Pena, Sara Jimenez, Carla Jimenez, Charlene Pena and Renata Jimenez.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Jose, Alfonso, Rafael, Andres, and Clara.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in St. Peter's Church, 24 St Peter St., Salem, MA.
