Jose Cabido Marques, 87 of Salem MA.  Passed away on Monday November 1, 2021 at Beverly hospital surrounded by family.

Jose was born in Portugal and moved to Peabody in 1978.  He resided in Peabody for 40 years.

He worked in manufacturing at Altron for 25 years.  He was also very active in the Portuguese church for 30 years.

Jose is survived by his grandchildren Victoria & Gabriella Marques. He is also survived by his daughter in law Amy Marques along with many close friends.

He is predeceased by his wife Italina Marques and his son Antonio Jose Marques.  Also his grandson Mateus Marques and sisters Joaquina and Alexandrina.

Services will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, on Monday November 8 ^th . Visitation from 9am to 10:30am. Mass at St. Thomas Church in Salem at 11am.
