Obituary

John Francis McIsaac, 48, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House – Care Dimensions, Danvers, MA, on July 9, 2017, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
John is survived by his wife, Tina (Minghetti) McIsaac and his loving son, Aidan and beloved cat, Gae-Gae.  John was born and raised in Jamaica Plain, MA.  John is the son of the late Richard "Doc" McIsaac and the late Alice (Tellier) McIsaac; brother of Richard McIsaac of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth (McIsaac) Kane of Nantucket, MA and the late Lisa (McIsaac) Rockwell of Mansfield, MA; Deeply missed by his Father-in-Law, Pier "Gino" Minghetti, late Mother-in-Law, Eleanor (Attardo) Minghetti of Somerville, MA; brother-in-law to Denis & Mariann (Minghetti) Murray of Westford, MA, Robert & Elisa (Minghetti) Staffiere of Somerville, MA, Richard Rockwell of Mansfield, MA and Will Kane of Nantucket, MA; Dear Uncle to Ariana, John-John, Tadgh, Leanora, Dinny, Matthew, Jacob, Brian, Ethan and Patrick. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.
John was an active member of the Teamsters Local 25 Move & Trade Show Industry Union/ Spry Moving, in Woburn, MA, for over 20 years.
Visiting services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 between the hours of 4pm-8pm at  Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, MA.  To celebrate his life, Fr. McGuinness will conduct a mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1 Margin Street, Peabody, MA, followed by burial services at Greenlawn Cemetery, 57 Orne Street, Salem, MA. Celebration of life will be held at Victoria Station, 86 Warf Street, Salem, MA following the burial.  All are welcome to celebrate John's life with food, drink, laughter and wonderful memories.
