Joan Irma (Tedoldi) Rossi, age 84, a longtime resident of Needham, more recently of Salem, wife of Silvio J. Rossi, died Friday March 2, 2012. Born in the Bronx section of NY, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Mary (Negri) Tedoldi. A graduate of Ste. Ursula Academy in Grand'Mere, Canada, Mrs. Rossi received her degree from Boston University.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rossi is survived by her 3 Children, Paul Louis Rossi and his wife Susan D. Rossi of Severna Park, MD, Mark William Rossi and his wife Joan de Vries of Lafayette, CA and John Richard Rossi and his wife Tina C. Rossi of Dover; a brother William Tedoldi of Needham and seven grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Rossi, Claire , Jasmine, and Mariel Rossi – de Vries, and Douglas and Caroline Rossi.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 9:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 28 St. Peter St, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, TODAY, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (corner of North St) Salem.
