Salem- Jennie W. Chin (Wong), 94, of Salem passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday August 3, 2019 at the Oosterman Rest Home in Wakefield. Born in Boston, Jennie was the daughter of the late Jee Wong and Gail Suen (Woo) Wong.

Jennie is survived by: her son Edward Yee and his wife Catharine, her son David Yee; her grandchildren Melissa Lynott and her husband Paul, Katerina Yee, Edward P. Yee and his wife Catalina, Christopher Yee, Susan Yee, her great-grandsonMichael Lynott, her sister Lucy Wong Ng and many nieces and nephews. Jennie is predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years Kim S. Chin, her daughter Colleen Yee, her siblings James Wong, George Wong, Phillip Wong, Perry Wong, Gay Wong Chew, Ark Loo Wong, and Meiling Hong.

Visiting hours will take place on Friday August 9, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal St. Salem. A funeral service will be held following the visiting hours at 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home.
