Jason J. "Bones" LeBlanc age 31 of Salem died Thursday evening, July 2, 2009 in North Shore Medical Center, Salem..
Born and raised in Salem, he enjoyed sports and had played both Salem Little League Baseball and Salem Youth Soccer. As a student at Salem High School, he had played varsity soccer and following his graduation in the Class of 1995, Jason continued playing soccer, most recently in the Men's League at Soccer Etc in Beverly. For several years in the summer, Mr. Leblanc had been a park instructor and life guard for the Salem Park and Recreation Department at the March St., Playground.
He had previously been an EMT for North Shore Ambulance and an MRI Technician for North Shore Medical Center, in Peabody. More recently, he enjoyed his office work and bill collections for the law firm of Andrew and Updegraph in Salem. He was also a part time bartender for the Knights of Columbus Veragua Council 76 in Salem.
Predeceased by his father, the late Joseph F. LeBlanc, he is survived by his mother Janice (Andruskiewicz) (LeBlanc) Morgan and her husband Walter Morgan of Beverly;; two brothers Joshua Leblanc of Salem and Joe Morgan of Peabody; his maternal grandfather Joseph Andruskiewicz of Lexington, MA and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
