Janice P. O'Hara , age 69, of Peabody, MA died Friday morning in Salem Hospital. Born the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Campana) O'Hara, she was educated at Immaculate Conception School in Revere Class of 1957.
Once completeing High school , she attended Secretarial school to complete her education. Janice worked for 25 years as a secretary and Administive Assistant in Boston in the manufacturing arena until retiring due to illness. She was loving and caring to all her family and friends and was also an avid sports fan for all the Boston Teams.
Janice id survived by her nieces Wendy Carrigan and her husband Tim of Peabody, Elizabeth O'Hara and Steven Abbott of Peabody, and by two nephews Michael O'Hara and his wife Brenda of Topsfield, and Thomas O'Hara and his wife Jane of Seabrook, NH. and many cousins.
Janice was predeceased by a brother Joseph T. O'Hara and her longtime companion Hugh Bradshaw.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. There will be no Visiting hours at Janice's request. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
