Peabody….

Janet M. (LaBelle) Turlo, age 68, loving wife for 39 years of William L. Turlo of Peabody, formerly of Butler St., Salem, died Thursday morning in the Pilgrim Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, Peabody following a long illness.


She was born in Danvers the daughter of the late Lester and Beatrice (Wright) LaBelle. Following her education in Beverly schools she married her husband on July 6, 1969 . She was a devoted mother and wonderful wife, caring for all of her family's needs.


Later in life, after her husband retired, they enjoyed travel and taking cruises to many places including Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and the Panama Canal. All of her life one of her greatest passions was making regular visits to the Salem Willows.


In addition to her husband, Mrs. Turlo is survived by two daughters Lisa and her husband Roger Bondeson of Windham, ME and Karen Ernest of Wilmington, VT; five grandchildren Melissa, David, and Daniel Smith all of Wilmington, VT, Patrick Waitt of Boston and Brielle Bondeson of Windham, ME; three sisters Frances Joyce of Danvers, Mildred Spiliotis of Salem and Norma Rideout of CT and many nieces and nephews.


Her funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3 at 10:00 A.M in the First Baptist Church, 221 Cabot St., Beverly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
