IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jane
Reagan
September 25, 1942 – November 28, 2020
Lynn native Jane A. Reagan, 78, of Conway, S.C., passed peacefully with family at her side Nov. 28 after a short battle with cancer.
Born Jane Adele Farese Sept. 25, 1942, in Lynn, Mass., she was the youngest, by minutes, of nine children. She spent her early childhood in Lynn's famous Brickyard neighborhood, but lived most of her life in East Lynn. She graduated from Lynn English High School in 1960, and was a neighborhood fixture for decades as a local store clerk and bank teller, known and loved by many of her customers until retiring in 2011 to Conway, S.C.
Jane was preceded in death by seven older brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons George Hayward of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Scott Hayward of Salem, Mass., her twin sister Janice Bourque of Conway, S.C., four grandchildren, and more than two dozen nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She had passions for cats, cooking, arts and crafts, and made and sold beautiful semi-precious jewelry. She also was a beloved "second mom" to a small circle of her sons' childhood friends, whom she loved and helped however she could.
She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes, and her family will hold an appropriate memorial service in 2021, when all can gather to celebrate her life. For more information or online guestbook, please visit www.MurpyFuneralHome.com or call 978-744-0497.
