Jane K. Jaworski, age 99, died Friday morning March 6, 2015 at the Peabody Glen Health Care Center. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Rakoc) Jaworski. She had attended Salem Public Schools. Following her education, she was employed with Sylvania for 25 years. She was an instructor for the company and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Ms. Jaworski was a member of the Salem Senior Center, AARP, the Golden Tones and also sang in choir at St. John the Baptist Church in Salem. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and Polish dancing. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday this July 4th.
Surviving her are her brother Louis Jaworski and his wife Teresa of Salem, her sister in law Gina Jaworski of Salem and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Albert, Stanley, Henry, Teddy and Robert Jaworski, Alice Morin and Madeline Kotkowski.
Her funeral will be held from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St.) Salem on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, 28 St. Peter's St., Salem at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours are Murphy Funeral Home on Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
