Jane (Arthur) Ferguson, 72

December 13, 1949 - July 24, 2022

Our mother, Jane (Arthur) Ferguson, sadly passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2022, at the age of 72, after months of struggling with an illness.

Born in Salem, Jane made such life long friendships there and everywhere she traveled to.  Her connection with Salem and it's history kept her close.  She loved  reading, cooking, crocheting, puzzles, wine and chocolate! When she traveled she captured some amazing photos and made some unforgettable memories.  She was always grateful for her family and friends. Through the most painful times she found something to laugh about.

She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Arthur, her father, Edward Arthur and sister, Sally (Arthur) Rathjen.  She is survived by her brother, John Arthur and leaves behind her three sons, James, Brian, his wife Jennifer, Steven, his wife Nadia and 4 grandchildren she held close to her heart, AJ, Alexa, Nikolas, Declyn-Rose and several nieces and nephews. Jane has left her beloved life long friend, Kathy Raby, who has been an angel by her side through it all.

We would love you to come and honor Jane's life at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem, between the hours of 10am - 12pm on Thursday, August 4th. Graveside service will immediately follow at Green Lawn Cemetery at 12:30pm.
