Jane (Hammond) Digan, age 72, a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend Died at Ledgewood Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center, Beverly, MA early Wednesday morning, May 22, 2013.

Jane was born in Beverly and raised in Ipswich the daughter of the late Carl and Phyllis (Norcross) Hammond. Jane was educated in Ipswich schools graduating from Ipswich High School. As a young child and teenager, she loved riding horses. In her later life Jane found enjoyment in her family, friends and a good "Law and Order" Marathon.

Jane is survived by her four children Richard Digan and his wife Li Sosna of Arlington, Diane Davis and her husband Peter of Beverly, Eric Digan and his wife Lisa of Peabody and Debra Digan of Lynn; a sister Corrine Talbot and her husband Donald of Haverhill ; four grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, George and Murphy and her lifelong friend Judy Foley.

Mrs. Digan was predeceased by her sister Judy Emerson and her only niece Bonnie McGovern.
