"Jim" age 94, husband of Alice Markarian; son of the late Richard and Rose (Zartarian) Vartikian; survived by a daughter Pamela Vartigan Tremblay and her husband Gerry and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, his twin sister Margaret and Armen , and a brother Arsen . Funeral Thurs, Jan 7, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of rte 114, exit 25A from Rte 128) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Wed from 4-8P.M. in the funeral. home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the North East Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA, 01970.
