It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacqueline Frances (Bagge) Hawkins, age 95, on July 19, 2025.  Born on January 5, 1930, in Taunton, Massachusetts, Jacqueline was the second of four children in the Bagge family. After losing her father at an early age, her mother Rose and siblings Barbara, John, and Henry moved to Lynn, Massachusetts where she grew up learning resilience, perseverance, and the value of close family ties.

Jacqueline married Kenneth H. Hawkins in 1955 and together they raised four children, instilling in them the values of hard work, humility, and kindness. She was the heart of her family. As a caring mother, she built a home filled with warmth and unconditional love. She dedicated her life to raising her children and later delighted in her role as a proud grandmother with equal passion and joy. Jaqueline's greatest happiness came from nurturing her family. Throughout her life, she remained ready to listen with an open heart and patient ear, eager to provide helpful guidance and wisdom to her family.

She is survived by her children; Steven, David and his wife Katherine, and Jeffrey and his wife Mary; her five grandchildren, Andrew, Aimee, Sean, Ryan, and Adam. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Rose (Lamont) Bagge, her husband Kenneth, her sister Barbara Bagge, and her beloved daughter Janice (Hawkins) Lane.

A longtime resident of both Peabody and Salem, Massachusetts, she leaves behind a legacy of love, quiet strength, and grace that will live on through her family.

Visitation is private.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide's Church, 712 Lowell St. Peabody MA on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at 11:00AM.
