Irma Kline, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 20, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts, Irma was the beloved daughter of the late Belle (Shepard) Wolinski and the late Doctor Maurice Wolinski. She was raised in Winthrop alongside her late brother, Burton Wolinski, before settling in Peabody, where she lovingly raised her children. In her later years, she made her home in Danvers.
Irma dedicated many years of her professional life to Gainsboro Studio and Porter Sewing Machine. Irma had a vibrant personality and a true zest for life. She had a way of making those around her feel special and cared for, and she was loved deeply by all who knew her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures; spending time in the sun, playing mahjong, and enjoying games of bingo. Above all, she treasured time with her family, especially her beloved Khloe.
Irma is survived by her son, Scott Kline, and her daughter, Lisa (Kline) Andrews, and her husband, Dana Andrews; her grandchildren, Haley (Andrews) Mongeon and her husband, Douglas Mongeon, and Samuel Andrews; and her great-granddaughter, Khloe Belle Mongeon, who held a special place in her heart and brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her many dear friends and neighbors, whom she loved like family.
Irma will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Peabody Senior Center. For more information or online guestbook, please visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com or call 978-744-0497.
